(Reclaiming Hope #1)

Nate~
With the world in chaos around us, the only thing I could do was try to keep Felix safe as we searched for our older brother. We’d been traveling for over two years, searching Ministry camp after Ministry camp and trying to steer clear of the Rebels. I didn’t know what to do when we ran into a whole group of shifters with guns. But then, the huge, gorgeous guy that f

This is a pretty decent shifter read, with plenty of biting and licking and mating.
The Reclaiming Hope world has potential, but I would like to see more of it vs. having it summarized in exposition monologues (like Tre telling Nate the true story of the war between the human government, called the Ministry, and the shifter rebels).
Tre and Nate's voices sounded too similar, and the secondary characters all ran together, except maybe Patty and Felix.
I love wolfy pack stories, but there were far t

I loved Nate and Tre. Yes, they have a couple of rocky moments in their relationship, but for the most part, it’s low angst and crazy affectionate. As a matter of fact, the entire pack was very tactile, and I found it all to be very sweet.
My 3.5 score is because the story was very long-winded. There’s was a good amount of action, but the pacing was too slow for my tastes. Some scenes could have been eliminated and/or shortened.

It's been a long time since a read a shifter story and after reading a few books from Michele Notaro that I loved, I thought I could give a try with this one.
I really liked it. Like really really liked it!!
I loved the world building. I loved the characters. All of them.
Nate and Tre were very sweet. So beautiful. borderline too much at times but I didn't really cared.
I will definitely continue on as I want to know about Patty and all of the rest of them now!!

This was an AMAZING book!!!! I've read a lot of shifter books, but very few pulled me in and made me love the world and characters like this one has. I am honestly shocked that it is the author's first paranormal book, and can't wait for more in the series!
I'm not a big fan of recapping the whole story, especially since I'm really bad about deciding whether something would be a spoiler or not, so I'd rather talk about my feelings about the book. Tre and Nate were amazing together. Tre wasn't you

Sorry, book, but I gotta return you. Without rating, though, since I DNF'd you at around 40%.

Nate was very immature, but he's allowed to be because he's 18. Just a wee babe. Tre was also very immature, but he's like 400 years old or something. That age difference made me feel a little weird, but whatever, they're shifters. This isn't a book about 'human' romance, so I can deal.
The writing style was also a bit different from what I'm used to. A lot of 'summary' writing. Like, inste

I liked this one. Really liked! :D
I mean, I rolled my eyes sometimes and ended up with a lot of questions about the war and the consequent culture that I hope will be answered in the next books.. (some little things didn't sound realistic, so I really hope there were a reason)
Besides it, I find this story really interesting and couldn't put it down until I finished.. and THAT END.. oh God, I need book 2 just NOW! But well, seems like I'll have to wait.. :'(

I thoroughly enjoyed this new shifter world. It was different and it sucked me right in.
Nate and his brother have been on the run for three years trying to find their older brother. Hey come across and town and run in to Tre and Patty.
Tre and Patty have been a pack of two for two hundred years. They just moved on to a new pack when they come across Nate and Felix. Tre doesn't understand why, but he lies to his new pack mate and tells them Nate is his mate and both him and Felix are from their

Different shifter dynamic in this one. I wasn't sure if this was current times or somewhat in the future.
Tre and Mate are True Mates but struggle with each other from the beginning. Tre has a strong feeling for Nate but is unsure way. And Mate knows that there is something different about Tre but doesn't know because he is so young.
For me this is a great introduction to this new series.

enjoyed but nothing super special = 3*
I have not read a whole bunch of shifter books so I have no idea how much of this book is recycled material but it came across reasonably well. I did a wee shout for joy when the word 'alpha' is mentioned saying it is a word not really in use any more but that shout was premature. The book repeatedly mentions X is an alpha. There were some minor editing issues but nothing I found too bothersome. An oddly unbelievable age difference. It seems silly to quibble

A decent Shifter read but the storyline didn’t suck me in as much as I hoped! Not sure if I’ll move onto book two.
This was such a great book - fantastic world-building and complex, interesting characters. The story of good vs evil is played out and rather than the usual twists and turns, this has wonderful loops and snakey paths with depth and reasons. The relationship development between the two MCs is beautiful so there's no instalove, saccharin-covered declaration, but instead a deep and earned love that is so good.
A great read and a brilliant start to this series.

Warning: Torture, murder (not graphic, but includes a brief mention of a teenage boy) and slight hint/background knowledge of noncon.
Okay, I know the author states that book two is 'Coming Soon', but for me it's not fast enough! Holy shit is this book good. Where to start?!? Okay, first I will state that this isn't your typical shifter book. So yeah, be ready. There is a bit of insta-feelings, but not how you are thinking/use to. In addition, thi

I really think this author has a knack for sci-fi. I find her writings in this genre so entertaining. I can't wait to read more.
I honestly have no idea how I feel about this one, which is a rarity for me. I mean, I kinda liked it? But I also spent a lot of time rolling my eyes at it? I don't even know. Same with the audio narration. Like, it's cool that I can easily tell the difference between the characters and all of the words are pronounced correctly. But, also, Nate kinda sounds like a girl? And Tre's deep baritone was weirdly fake? Seriously, I don't even know if I like this book or not. And I'm probably devoting wa..more

In this book the characters had more depth than in 'The enchanters's flame' but the story was not as good in my opinion.
I like the characters, although Nate seems really young and Tre was for his age and alphaness really clumsy sometimes.
will read the next one and can't wait to have Ronans story ..obviously I go for the complex guys
DNF! I hate shifter books. I think they are THE dumbest genre of book. The only reason I picked this book is because I really like the author and she’s a great writer. HOWEVER, this book is filled with grown men rubbing their cheeks against one another in order to release pheromones, mating rituals, “baby I’ll never leave you” cliches, & grown men growling at each other. If that’s your thing, you may enjoy this book cause the writing is good. I just found it ridiculous

Finally a book again that kept me reading. It sets a strong dystopian feeling right at the start where we meet Nate and Felix and their father doing everything so his kids have a chance to escape as the last 2 shifters of their town.
For 3 years the boys walked through a war devasted country where small groups of rebels and the so called Ministry are still fighting. Felix, now 15, still in his wolf form since their mother's death and refusing to change into human and Nate, 18, who's fiercly pr

The core story was quite interesting, but the Harlequinesque behavior of core characters was so eye rolling that I'm calling it quits for the series.
Not a bad story.
The beginning definitely captured my interest and my heart. As the story went on I did kind of get annoyed with Nick's judgmental and almost holier than thou attitude. His over the top anger at Patty or Tre was a bit tiring.
But there was more than enough action, likable characters that I look forward to learning more about, some great suspense, and a bit of a mystery that left me overly entertained. And the ending left me intrigued to how Patty's story will play out.

I was really excited when I saw that this book had 10 reviews all 5 stars. And really disappointed as I was reading it. The story is intriguing at the beginning, but the it just gets average at best. Some of the protagonists were supposed to be very old. Well, that worked only in author's head. So much angst and non stop apologizing I have never seen in my life and hopefully won't. Characters didn't act or talk like adults, the plot just got weirder and weirder like one of those tv

DNF @ 30%.
I kept hoping that something would happen that would pique my interest but the characters are bland, the plot is barely moving and the world building is at a minimum. I haven't had much luck with Michelle Notaro, and I'm thinking it may be time to move on.

A small pack, an interesting worldbuild, a post-apocalyptic setting, and shifters had me hooked from the get-go. It has been over twenty years since the war broke out between shifters and human governments. In that time humans and shifters have aligned themselves either with the Ministry, run by humans, or the Rebels, run by shifters. The human governments knew about shifters for hundreds of years and had an agreement with them, but then they reneged and began experimenting on shifters. When the..more

I read this book a few weeks ago when I was still to sick to write a review. If I had to use one word to describe this story it would be intense, from beginning to end intense. The world they loved in, the constant danger especially since you couldn't trust anyone not even family. This was so good!!!! It’s a dystopian/war type story which I usually avoid like the plague, but the romance is so sweet and the shifter world is really well-developed and captivating that when a friend recommended this I couldn’t put it down!
It’s dark and not super happy, but there are moments of light and I’m hopeful that book 2 will have some more happiness in it as well.

Patch Der Gruppe Sad Team Quotes

Archived

Fellow Command & Conquer fans,

It’s been a little over a month since we announced details about Command & Conquer Remastered, and we continue to be humbled by the excitement from the community. To provide a quick update on our development timeline, I’m excited to share that Petroglyph officially started development in December and are well underway with their pre-production items. Lemon Sky is equally hard at work, and already generating some of our first pieces of concept art. We can’t wait to begin sharing more about the development, and discussing many of your suggestions in the feedback thus far.

Speaking of which, the team at Petroglyph, Lemon Sky, and myself have been actively reading your questions and comments here on Reddit. I wanted to acknowledge some of the top questions we’re hearing:

  • What is the difference between a Remaster and a Remake?

    Cims drug book pdf

  • Lost downloads folder on mac. What visual approach are you taking – 2D or 3D?

  • Do you have the original source code?

  • What technology / engine are you using for the game?

  • What is going to happen with the FMVs?

  • What quality of life improvements are you considering?

While we’re not ready to answer all of these questions just yet, they are top of mind as we continue our pre-production work. In the meantime, I would like to address one of the more popular questions: Is this a remaster or a remake?

This is a remaster. Our intention is to keep the story, script, and content as authentic as possible to the original games, while providing much higher fidelity with modern quality of life improvements. As Joe stated in his initial post, the Command & Conquer look and feel is incredibly important to us, and will be one of the benchmarks we judge every decision against.

Just as important, we want to deliver on our commitment to ensure the community has a strong voice in how we remaster C&C. As a first step in this goal, I’m eager to announce we have officially formed the Command & Conquer Remastered Community Council. The Community Council is a group of 13 of the most dedicated C&C Community leaders, ranging from key mod developers, to streamers, and web admins. This group will have a direct line of access to myself and the Petroglyph dev team, and will be a critical sounding board for design discussions and artistic feedback. They will also act as a voice for the community, advocating for what all of you feel are the most important topics to consider.

Keep in mind that because of the depth of their involvement, they are all under NDA and will be limited in what they can discuss publicly. Please respect their adherence to this NDA to ensure we can continue this initiative going forward. We’ve already had our first call between Petroglyph and the Community Council, and expect many more positive conversations over the upcoming months. If there are topics you wish for us to discuss with the Council, please continue to post them here on Reddit or social channels.

Thanks again for your ongoing support, and we’re looking forward to providing another update in the New Year.

Happy holidays!

Jim Vessella
